This catalogue was published to mark Hamann’s residency in Experimental Psychology Oxford University where she worked with neuroscientist Kia Nobre on perception and attention. 

Hamann devised the interventions and the gallery walking tour Upside Down and face to face at the Ashmolean Museum with curator Jim Harris and workshops developed with neuroscientist Chrystalina Antoniades.

The essay Engagement and Omission in Sigune Hamann’s work was written by Helen Sloan. Did you spot the Gorilla is the second book by Hamann published with The Everyday Press.
